Why not celebrate New Year's Eve two times — Baba knows how to do it!
First of all, Baba easily finds a good reason. This time it's the Orthodox New Year, celebrated on January 13th, according to the Julian calendar.
Second — plan what to eat and drink! This occasion calls for traditional food. Baba will start you off with mezze and Balkan salads, slow-cook sarma and stuffed peppers, grill mixed meats and roast a good rotisserie. She will also warm up the cold winter with mulled wine and rakia — doesn't get much better than this.
Third — a good vibe. For an authentic atmosphere, Baba found the perfect theme — traditional Tamburica band -«Ponoc » from Pittsburgh, PA will make this night a memorable one, filled with nostalgia and remembrance of Skadarlija in the heart of Belgrade, a cozy Salas in Vojvodina, warm seaside of Dalmacija…
